Description
This is my favorite swan, Papa. He just glided around posing for me. I think he was a diva! Taken in Middleboro in 2017. The background was dark and I decided to darken it a little more to give more contrast with the white swan. They sure do have flexible necks!

Turn this into BW and make strong contrast. Except for the head and the big fluffy feathers toward the back, shade the rest of the body slightly darker. That may be another interesting look. I do all adjustments of BW photos in Lightroom or PS. Back when I did film photos, it was a lot more cumbersome to do so in the darkroom. Ansel Adam adjusted all his work too so don’t feel bad.
