Description
The background is light painting I did by hand, in the air, during a long exposure. I used these great flameless candles and a sarong from belly dancing. I thought the coins would give an interesting effect. I think it give a bit of a hippy vibe, I imagine incense burning in the background.

I love all your light painting images but this one is my favorite. It brings back many memories of those hippy days and how much I wanted to learn belly dancing. Are these done at night in a dark room? And how do you stay out of the pictures since you are behind the scene so to speak...Anyway I really do love this...f/l
Linda Howes replied:
Thanks so much Karen! It's a favorite of mine too.I did learn how to belly dance, they have dvds. It's fun and good for you! Yes it has to be dark, that's why you don't see me, it's usually just my arm in the scene, but not always, then it has to be super dark.
